MAA TV, popular entertainment channel has acquired ‘Ayyare’ satellite rights for a whopping 56 lacs. The film which was released last week got good reviews and positive talk. The film starring Rajendra Prasad and Sivaji revolves around how people were taken for a ride for fake swamijis with Rajendra Prasad donning the role of swamiji to wriggle out of his financial problems. The film is produced by B.Sudhakara Raju and Rangana Achchappaand is directed by Sagar Chandra. Anisha Singh made her tollywood debut with the film.

What more could an actor expect than getting a pat on the back from none other than the legendary Kamal Hassan? The Nayakan Hero who was at the Four Frame Preview theatre to watch the film Nanban on Saturday was all praises for Vijay.

Vijay accompanied Kamal for the screening of Nanban. The film is one of the best things that has happened to Vijay in terms of collection and appreciation, it is stated by industry pundits.

Aditya Music , one of the reputed music company bagged the rights for marketing ‘Solo’ DVDs due for release in India. Buzz is the company paid 5lacs and got the rights for the film ‘Solo’ which fetured Nara Rohit and Nisha Agarwal. The film did quite well at the box office in tollywood and even won critical acclaim. Parashuram directed the film with Vamsi Krishna producing it.

Young heart throb Adi is romancing hot debutant Shanvi in ‘Lovely’. Presently the film is in final schedule in which a song will be canned on the lead pair in Istanbul, Turkey. The unit will be there for 5 days starting from 24th Jan and later will be commencing its post production work. Rajendra Prasad is playing a prominent role while Puri Jagannath is doing a cameo. B.Jaya is directing the film produced by BA.Raju on RJ Cinemas banner. Anup Rubens tunes the scores for the film presented by RR.Movie makers.

Energetic Hero Ravi Teja, alluring curvy beauty Tapsee starrer upcoming heavy expectations film “Daruvu” shooting is at present on progress in a pub in Novatel 7starHotel, Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad. Vital scenes on lead actors Ravi Teja, Tapsee and Brahmanandam are being canned by the film unit in the direction of Shiva. Burugupalli Shiva Rama Krishna is producing this magnum opus film. Film shooting of this schedule will continue till 5th of February and later on the film unit will move on to Mauritius for canning few songs.

It has been reported in various channels that top director Maniratnam’s new film starring renowned kollywood star Kartik’s son Gautam and beauty on ‘Dookudu’ Samantha in lead role is titled ‘Pookadai’. Buzz is a new director Satish, disciple of Saran approached directors association claiming that ‘Pookadai’ title was registered under his name 5yrs back and he had already started shooting film with that name. Maniratnam’s close aides quickly issued a statement that they never announced the film’s title as ‘Pookadai’ and sought to blame media for entire issue. Sources say the film now may be titled as ‘Kaadal’ and will be having AR.Rahman as music director.

Victory Venkatesh, Mehar Ramesh combination film “Shadow” is moving up with brisk pace. Recently music director Thaman tweeted in his twitter account that the introduction song of this film was successfully completed. It seems that this song turned out to be enthralling. Paruchuri Kiriti is producing this action packed film. Sources stated that the lead actor Venkatesh will appear in a don role in this flick. Plumpy beauty Richa Gangopadhyaya is roped in to act in the role of female lead in this film.

Poola Rangadu, the forthcoming film starring Sunil and Isha Chawla, will release on February 10th. The film was earlier schedule for a Feb 3rd release but sources say that t the movie’s date is now going to be Feb 10th. Successful director Veerabhadram has taken care of the story, screenplay and direction of this movie.

Sunil is going to be seen in a highly entertaining role with a six pack body. Currently, the last song is being filmed in Ramoji Film City. With this, the total shoot of the movie will be officially complete and post production works are already in full swing. Poola Rangadu has been produced by K.Atchi Reddy and the film is being presented on R.R.Movie Makers banner.

A R Rahman received 2 Oscar Awards for the best music in the Hollywood film Slumdog Millionaire. Similarly Resul Pookutty also got the Oscar Award for the same film for the best sound engineer.

His sound mixing for the film Endhiran directed by Shankar was also appreciated very much by one and all.

Now Resul Pookutty will be working as a sound engineer for the Dhanush starrer film 3 directed by Aishwarya Dhanush.
Resul Pookutty while speaking about this said, “I met Kolaveri team, Dhanush and Anirudh yesterday. I am very happy to work with the crew of 3 because they are very talented.” The crew of 3 has conveyed their thanks to Resul Pookutty since he has agreed to work in 3.

Koko Koli Kothi, the Kannada movie starring Kitty, Priya Mani and Harshika, released for Pongal and is running successfully. Inspired by its success in Kannada, director Chandru is planning to remake the movie in Tamil and Telugu.

Although the remake decision is still in primary states, names that are in consideration for the Tamil and Telugu versions are Arya and Mahesh Babu respectively. Director Chandru is confident about finding producers and financiers for the venture.

Siddharth’s upcoming movie Love Failure is getting ready to release in February. The latest buzz is the makers are planning to launch the audio on January 28. Amala Paul is romancing Siddharth and Balaji Mohan is making his debut as a director with this film. Siddharth is co-producing the film on EtakiEntertainments banner along with Nirav Shah and Sashikanth from Y NOT Studios banner.The bilingual film, which will be released in Telugu and Tamil, is based on a Balaji Mohan’s short film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi. Thaman has composed the music and Siddharth has also sung a song in the film.

Aadi Pinisetty, Dansika and Anjali starrering Eka Veera, which is the Telugu version of Tamil movie Aravaan has completed the DTS mixing work and is going to release in February. Vasanth Balan is directing the film and T Siva and Srinivas Damera are jointly producing the Telugu version under Amma Creations and 5 Colors Multimedia banners. Singer Karthik is making his debut as music director through this flick. Eka Veera is the story based on the real life incidents that occurred 300 years ago.

Allu Arjun’s latest untitled film under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas new schedule commences from today at Ramoji Film City. The movie unit is going to film some important scenes on lead cast of the movie. Ileana is the female lead of this film.  DVV Danayya is presenting this film. Allu Arjun is trying a brand new look for this film and he is playing the role of a youngster with different ideology. Sonu Sood is playing as villain in this film. Devi Sri Prasad composing the tunes for this movie. The movie is expected to be released in May.

Prabhas is featuring in ‘Vaaradhi’ under Koratla Shiva’s direction. Shiva, a popular writer is debuting as director with the film and is presently shooting riveting climax of the film in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Final scenes were shot on Prabhas and baddies. Ravishing beauty Richa Gangopadhyaya and Aesthetic Anushka is romancing Prabhas. Devisri Prasad is tuning music for the film produced by Pramod Uppalapati and Vamsi Krishna Reddy on UV Creations banner. The movie has been scheduled for post summer release. Prabhas is coming as ‘Rebel’ in March under Raghava Lawrence direction.

It is known that  Hero Rana is supposed to act a film titled Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum under the direction of Gamyam and Vedam fame Krish. The regular shooting of this film started on monday. After finishing Naa Ishtam shooting, Rana has immediatly joined in it.
In this movie rana is playing a character of B.tech babu. First frame movies is producing this film while M M Keeravani is composing tunes for it.

Ram Charan’s  forthcoming film Racha is in final stage of shooting. The talkie part is done and currently the film unit is canning the songs. First song in the film is shot in various locations in Hyderabad. This song was shot at Buddha statue today. With this the song shoot was complete. Prem Rakshit choreographed this song. Mani Sharma is scoring music for Racha. Sampath Nandi is the director. Tamanna is romancing Ram Charan. Mega Super Good Films is making this film on a huge scale. This is the biggest budget film on this banner till date

Prakash Raj’s directorial bilingual Dhoni, will have its audio launch on Jan 30 in Hyderabad. While the Tamil version will be released on January 25, the Telugu music albums would be unveiled on Jan 30 at a special function in Hyderabad. Ilayaraja who composed the music for the film will be performing live with his orchestra during the audio launch ceremony. Sirivennela Seetarama Shastry has penned all the songs. While Prakash Raj is playing the lead role, Radhika Apte and Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash are portraying key roles in the movie.

Mahesh Babu’s Businessman is running  with great success and the movie collected more than Rs 62 cr on the first week itself. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and Venkat produced the film on R R Movie Makers banner. The femalelead was Kajal  Agarwal. The Tamil and Malayalam versions of the movie are going to release in the first week of February. Earlier, the makers had planned to release the film two weeks after the release of Telugu version and it looks like, they have decided to push the film’s release by another week.

Leader RaNa who is carving to prove himself in all film circuits went on to star in bollywood after making his debut in tollywood. He is even making his foray into kollywood. This hot hunk won best male actor on debut in bollywood presented by Zee Cine awards. Overjoyed RaNa said “Best Debut Male for the second time.
