Latha Rajanikanth, his better half speaking on the annual celebrations of the 'Ashram School' run by superstar said one need not come to politics or hold any power for doing selfless service. Her words poured cold water on dreams of his millions of fans who were aspiring him to see their Thalaivar as CM. Analysts feel wife is echoing Rajani's feelings as Superstar takes care not to hurt anyone. Rajani for himself gave away awards on his name to late actor Shammi Kapoor, actress Asha Farooq and top director K.Balachander. Ever humble Rajanikanth said it looks odd to give great actors awards bearing his name and he said from next time awards will be given on his mentor K.Balachandar's name.
