The actor,who is celebrating his birthday today,is excited about the films on hand
Last year,he celebrated his birthday in Coimbatore,where he was shooting for his yet-to-bereleased 7am Arivu.And on his big day today,its yet another day at office for Suriya.The shoot of K V Anands Maatran has kicked off in Chennai, says the actor,So,Ill be spending major portion of my day on the sets of the film.In the evening though,I will take off to spend some time with my family.The actor reveals that he has big ideas for this year which he plans to chalk out soon.I cant talk much about it now,but I might venture into something before my next birthday that I think Ill be proud of, he reveals.In fact,Im working out on the feasibility of the projects currently and will make it official as soon as thats done, he says.
The actor feels that Maatran,which marks the coming together of the Ayan superhit combination of K V Anand,Suriya and Harris Jayaraj,will be the most exciting film in his career. Fans and audiences will love it, is all hes willing to say about the film.
But thats for later.Currently,hes super happy about the manner in which his Murugadoss-directed 7am Arivu has shaped up.Its a big leap for the team that worked on Ghajini, he says,adding,In the film,weve broken some stereotypes that we associate Tamil cinema with and have tried out a new grammar in filmmaking. It is said that the sci-fi thriller features Suriya in a couple of roles including that of a Buddhist monk and a circus artist.
Im lucky to have got two very interesting films backto-back, says the actor.
Interestingly,even as he grows a year older,fans can look forward to a younger Suriya on-screen in his upcoming Maatran.Youll get to see a younger and fitter Suriya in the film, a source in the unit told CT earlier.It is learnt that director K V Anand,post the success of Ko,is working overtime with his team of writers and assistants to get the plot right.
